Norwich Games Festival

City College Norwich Stall:

I was fortunate enough to be able to present two of my games throughout the entirety of the festival. Being behind the stand and seeing people enjoying the games I have made was a reward I was not expecting, it is closure in a way for me to see what I am making is actually good. I tend to be pessimistic in my life so seeing something I've done have an impact it is really good to see.

Why Study Games Talk:

I was able to attend a talk with my tutor Dorian Cozens on the talk 'Why Study Games?'. Being able to stand up to a crowd allowed me to step out of my comfort zone of talking to the public. I talked about what I had learnt doing the course I was on paired with how I can use it in future employment.

Networking:

Being able to meet new developers and talk about games alike it great for my confidence paired with my knowledge on the sector. I was able to meet up with people I had previously met from the Norfolk Game Developers resulting in some friendly chats.
